How I became a fan of Chris and Mike is quite interesting! Not only are they two beautiful black men, they are also
amazing ball players. Both Chris and Mike were key players on the Sacramento Kings.
When I first got interested in pro basketball, all of my friends were Laker fans. Gross, I know!!! Well, I didn't
want to jump on the band wagon so I decided to root for their rivals...THE KINGS!!! As time passed, I learned the game, the
players, and soon developed a love for this team.
Chris and Mike are my two favorite players because of their friendship. They played on the same team for five years
and developed an amazing friendship that was very evident on the court. On February 23, 2005, Chris was the center of
a blockbuster trade that sent him to the Philadelphia 76ers. Although they are no longer playing on the same team, they
are still the best of friends.
